REMOVAL OF AN ENTRY FROM THE ISIL (DA’ESH) AND AL-QAEDA SANCTIONS LIST
The United Nations Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities has, on 23rd August 2024, removed the entry below from the ISIL (Da’esh) and Al Qaida Sanctions List. Therefore, the assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo set out in paragraph 1 of Security Council resolution 2734 (2024) and adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations no longer apply to the removed entry.
Accordingly, the Counter Financing of Terrorism Inter-Ministerial Committee hereby circulates the removal of this entry from the ISIL (Da'esh) & Al-Qaida Sanctions List to the public and all reporting institutions and provides guidance on actions to be taken following the publication of this notice.
